The beginning of winter

While it has hardly been winter here in December, January finally started a bit more seriously.

The first snowflakes arrived cautiously. But the lakes were still open.
Then thaw again.

A few days later some more snowflakes.

But, boom, thaw again.

Would we have another January this year like every year in southern Sweden so far, with temperatures from minus 17, minus 19 during the day, to minus 23 at night? A January with a thick layer of snow all month?…

Look, now it’s happening, the sky is closing and so is the lake. Brrrr.
