Fancy a holiday in Sweden?
This cottage is for rent, especially for those seeking peace and quiet, who love nature, and who also love cats and are not allergic to them. Because in the house lives Godis (pronounced: Goodies).
Unfortunately, we cannot welcome dogs, as Godis does not tolerate them at all.
Godis is the Swedish word for candy. And he is also a sweetheart, affectionate, and enjoys company. He goes in and out himself, only needs food and water, no litter box.
The house is called Björkhaga, but we usually call it “the yellow house”. It is made of wood, well insulated, warm in winter, sufficiently cool in summer. It has a large, spacious living room with an extensive kitchen, a bathroom, two small bedrooms, and a spacious veranda.
Woods and lake
The house is situated in the middle of a large natural garden, directly adjacent to a forest. It overlooks a large lake, which is a 10-minute walk from the house.
The house is located in the settlement of Sandreda, which consists of around 20 houses and villas, scattered around part of Lake Madkroken.
Opposite the yellow house is the (red) house of Aldrik and Alice, the owners. They are Dutch, retired, and have been living here since 2015. They love peace and nature. Animals, plants, and hiking. They enjoy showing guests around the area and are also up for a good conversation.
